Why remote working?

Your work may require frequent travel, whether it is local, interstate or overseas.

It may be worth considering having the ability to work remotely. Many tasks can be performed just as well from home or elsewhere as if the individual were physically in the office.

How we achieve this:

Terminal services

Terminal Services is a technical term which describes the process where your computer or terminal server remains at one location (your office) and you communicate with it remotely. Only the display, keyboard and mouse information travels across the communication link. It looks and fees like you are sitting in front of your computer. You can even print to your remote location. It is secure; all of your sensitive data remains in your office. If your laptop/PC is stolen or damaged you can be confident that information remains safe and secure.

Wide area networks

Similar to a local area network (LAN), which is the method for sharing files within an office, we can set up wide area networks (WAN) for multiple offices that need to communicate as fast and efficiently as if they were all in the same location.

Virtual private networks

In addition to the WAN, we can set you up so you and/or your staff may work from anywhere. The virtual private network (VPN) is an encryption protocol allowing you to connect to the office and work from anywhere: home, cafes, overseas, or anywhere else you have access to an Internet connection. This is the type of network which used by the Terminal Server.

3G Wireless networks

We can also organise roaming 3G wireless network access for you, so you always have an Internet connection, wherever you go. We have extensive experience and resources to customise 3G and wireless solutions, for example, to meet your point of sale requirements.

Voice over Internet phone (VOIP) systems
